Hydraulic hose and cylinder repair shop near the New York and Connecticut border
Our counter is a short drive over the state line in New Milford, CT — with mobile units covering the New York side.

If a high-pressure line blows on a job near the I-684 corridor, you’ve got two options: bring the broken assembly to our New Milford counter, or have one of our mobile units come to you. Either way, we carry over 10,000 fittings and adapters, so most repairs don’t involve waiting on a shipment.

We hear from a lot of operators in Putnam and northern Westchester counties — contractors on Route 22, landscaping crews near North Salem, snow plow operators along the Harlem Valley in winter. It’s the same reason our shop exists on the Connecticut side: this corridor runs on machinery that can’t sit broken for long.

A Corridor Built on Getting Things Moving

Brewster grew up around a railroad depot. In 1848, landowner Walter Brewster invited the New York and Harlem Railroad to build a station on his farmland — and the little stop that became “Brewster’s Station” grew into the largest community in Putnam County within a generation.

In 1864, Gail Borden — inventor of shelf-stable condensed milk — built one of his first major factories right in Brewster. At its peak, more than 200 local dairy farmers delivered 20,000 gallons of milk to the plant every day, and Borden’s Eagle Brand condensed milk rode the Harlem Railroad south to feed Union troops during the Civil War. The old rail line that once carried milk out of Putnam County is the same corridor that carries contractors and fleets across the state line today.

That history is part of why we built a shop just over the border: this has always been a working corridor, and working equipment needs a place nearby that can fix it fast.

Around the Border Towns We Serve

Ward Pound Ridge Reservation

Westchester County’s largest park at 4,315 acres, straddling Pound Ridge and Cross River. Stone walls from more than thirty former farms still crisscross the woods — and like any large park, it depends on a fleet of grounds equipment to keep 40+ miles of trail maintained.

John Jay Homestead

The Bedford farmhouse and estate of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the United States. It’s one of several historic sites that make Bedford’s three hamlets — Bedford Village, Bedford Hills, and Katonah — worth the drive on their own.

Brewster (Southeast) Train Station

Still an active Metro-North Harlem Line stop today, on the same rail corridor that carried Gail Borden’s condensed milk out of Putnam County in the 1860s.

Route 22 / Harlem Valley

The farm country running north through Pawling, Dover Plains, and Amenia toward Wassaic — dairy and produce operations that still lean on tractors, balers, and loaders through the growing season.
